The Problem
Quisitive was engaged by a state-led financial services organization that handles retirement, financial services and deferred compensation to develop a modular, web-based application to replace its multi-tiered .Net and SQL-based Pension Administration System. The PAS handles pensions for over 40,000 members, managing contributions, benefits, and distributions.
Despite ongoing maintenance, the on-premises PAS struggled to adapt to legislative changes, had long page load times, and required extensive training due to its challenging client interface. Data transfer and processing were costly and time-consuming.
Remote work was difficult, exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic, prompting the organization to prioritize system overhaul.
The Solution
Quisitive assisted the state-led financial organization in transitioning its aging Pension Administration System (PAS) from on-premises to the Azure cloud.
