If you missed the 2025 Microsoft Fabric Conference, don’t worry—we’ve got you covered. As a Gold Sponsor this year, Quisitive was right in the middle of the action at Booth #210, where we had an incredible time connecting with customers, partners, and Microsoft leaders.
Between the packed sessions, big announcements, and some seriously exciting hallway conversations, there’s a lot to unpack. Here’s what stood out.
Big Fabric Announcements That Matter from the 2025 Microsoft Fabric Conference 2025
1. Copilot is now everywhere
What used to be locked behind a high-tier SKU is now included in all Microsoft Fabric. That means Copilot is accessible to teams piloting Fabric at lower investment levels. This is a game-changer for organizations that want to explore AI but don’t want to break the bank doing it.
2. Database mirroring is here
Fabric now supports real-time, automatic data movement—no more fiddling with data schedules or ingestion engines. It’s early days, but this shift signals a major simplification coming to Fabric’s data architecture.
3. OneLake gets a security boost
The crowd was excited about new row- and column-level security features for OneLake. While full confirmation is still pending, it’s clear that data governance is top of mind—and improving fast.
4. Synapse migration just got easier
Fabric now includes a tool to help migrate from Synapse. That means less lift, more speed, and fewer headaches for teams making the move.

Our Live Session: 5 Hacks for Closing the IT-C-Suite Divide
We brought together a room full of business & technical experts for a deep dive into bridging the gap between IT and the C-suite. The session offered actionable strategies for leveraging Microsoft Fabric, Excel, Purview, and Copilot to align technology initiatives with top-level business goals.
With insights from our work across healthcare, finance, and public sectors, we showed how the right tools can drive better collaboration, enhance decision-making, and support business transformation. The key takeaway? It’s not just about the tools—it’s about aligning people, governance, and strategic vision to make tech work for everyone.
