Today, I had the privilege of attending the AI Business Solutions Partner Executive Summit in Renton, Washington, alongside Microsoft leaders, partners, ISVs, and systems integrators who are focused on the future of business applications in the AI era.
The event brought together a powerful combination of strategy, innovation, and practical guidance around the next generation of Dynamics 365 and Copilot capabilities. As an executive in the Microsoft ecosystem, I left the summit with a strong sense that we are entering a new chapter for business applications, one where AI is no longer a feature layered onto existing processes but an integral part of how organizations operate, make decisions, and create value.
Dynamics 365: More Than a System of Record
A recurring theme throughout the day was the evolution of Dynamics 365 from a traditional system of record into a true system of intelligence and action. Whether the discussion centered on Finance, Supply Chain Management, Customer Service, Sales, Business Central, or the Microsoft Power Platform, the message was clear: organizations are seeking business applications that do more than store data. They need solutions that help employees understand what is happening, anticipate what comes next, and take action faster.
The convergence of Dynamics 365, Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform, and the Microsoft Cloud is creating opportunities to automate routine work, accelerate insights, and empower teams to focus on strategic outcomes rather than administrative tasks. For customers across manufacturing, professional services, distribution, healthcare, and financial services, this is changing how organizations evaluate and realize value from technology investments.
Microsoft’s Vision on the Dynamics 365 Partner Opportunity
One of the highlights of the day was hearing from Georg Glantschnig, Corporate Vice President for Dynamics 365 ERP Applications at Microsoft. Georg outlined Microsoft’s vision for the future of ERP and discussed the opportunity for partners helping customers modernize business processes with Dynamics 365 and AI.
What resonated with me was his emphasis on helping organizations move beyond traditional digital transformation and toward AI-enabled business operations.
The opportunity is no longer simply implementing ERP systems. It is enabling intelligent operations through Finance, Supply Chain, Commerce, HR, Project Operations, and service applications that leverage AI to enhance decision-making and operational performance.
For partners like Quisitive, this reinforces the importance of combining technology expertise with deep industry knowledge.
As organizations move from AI experimentation to enterprise-wide adoption, success will depend on more than implementing new technology. It requires aligning AI with business strategy, modernizing core processes, and preparing people for change.
That’s where trusted partners make a difference, helping organizations navigate complexity, accelerate adoption, and achieve measurable business outcomes with Dynamics 365.
How AI Is Transforming Seller Productivity and Growth
Another impactful session featured Mike Morton, Vice President for Dynamics 365 Business Central and SMB at Microsoft. Mike focused on how AI is reshaping the modern selling environment and highlighted the importance of improving seller productivity directly within the flow of work.
His perspective reinforced something many business leaders are already experiencing: sales teams are overwhelmed with information, administrative tasks, and competing priorities. AI has the potential to change that by helping sellers spend less time managing data and more time building customer relationships, identifying opportunities, and driving revenue growth.
The integration of Dynamics 365 Sales, Microsoft Copilot, and the broader Microsoft ecosystem continues to demonstrate how AI can support account research, meeting preparation, opportunity management, forecasting, and next-best-action recommendations. These capabilities are quickly moving from innovation projects to everyday business necessities.
The Road Ahead
Perhaps the most encouraging takeaway from the summit was how practical the conversations have become. A year ago, many discussions centered on what AI might do in the future. Today, the focus has shifted to how organizations are deploying AI right now to improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, and create competitive advantage.
The organizations that will lead over the next several years will not necessarily be the ones with the most data. They will be the ones that can effectively combine data, AI, and business process transformation to drive better decisions and outcomes.
Microsoft’s continued investment in Dynamics 365, Copilot, and agent-driven business applications is creating a compelling roadmap for customers and partners alike. The opportunity ahead is becoming increasingly clear, and the conversations in Renton made it evident that we are only at the beginning of what AI-enabled business applications will make possible.
A sincere thank you to the Microsoft leaders, partners, and organizers who made today’s event both valuable and insightful.
