Azure Immersion Workshop: Data Modernization

Join us on February 10, 2021, for the Azure Immersion Workshop: Data Modernization.

This one-day, remote workshop is geared towards TDMs, DBAs, and other Data roles and is focused on helping customers who have moved infrastructure to Azure but have not yet migrated apps or data. This workshop will highlight the value and process of migrating apps and databases to Azure utilizing SQL Database, SQL Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), and other data modernization Azure services and techniques.

This workshop is being promoted and delivered in partnership with Microsoft.

Morning – Data Migration: Value & Planning

9:00 AM – 10:00 AM CST – Data Migration overview, case studies, migration triggers, customer timelines, TCO value

10:00 AM – 11:00 AM CST – Using Data Migration tools & frameworks assess/build business case for cloud

11:00 AM – 12:00 PM CST – Whiteboarding exercise (assessing environment, destination considerations, etc.)

12:00 PM – 1:00 PM CST – Lunch Break
